Dr. Sofia Brickman has cared for our German Shepherds for more than a decade, and we couldn’t ask for a more compassionate and skilled veterinarian. She always takes the time to listen, explain, and ensure our dogs get the best care possible. We know they’re in great hands with her, and she’s always there to answer questions or help us through any concern, big or small. Most recently, she helped our young GSD Max through his neutering procedure, and we couldn’t have asked for a more painless and smooth experience—from pre-op guidance to follow-up care. We’re also so grateful for the entire Rose City staff. Every visit feels welcoming and calm, and the team’s kindness makes a real difference. When our GSD recently had surgery, we were touched by the regular text message updates they sent throughout the day—it gave us peace of mind to see how well he was being cared for. Highly recommend Rose City Veterinary Hospital for anyone looking for a place where your pets are treated like family!
Really seems like everyone there loves to do what they do. They are in it for the pets best interest. Liz was exceptionally great. Hercules is 4 months old now and looking great. Still not done with the posting but the ears are looking amazing.
They did a great job with our Doberma’s cropping. Had asked for a longer crop but not quite a show crop and it came out great. Still posting but it’s working out nicely.
Have no hesitation. Vets and techs are the very best you can find. They are compassion and kindness is beyond any I have ever seen. Going to Rose city is like going to visit family. We drive from the west side to Pasadena just to go here. Our dogs had the very best of care!
My dog died at an emergency vet 12 hours after I took her to Rose City for x-rays to see if she still had an obstruction after vomiting up most of it and the owner/vet told me that she was fine and had me take her home. The emergency vet told me that if she was rushed into emergency surgery for an obstruction when she was at Rose City that she most likely would have survived. But by the time that she got to the emergency vet she was far too weak and after being on life support for a day she didn’t make it. The obstruction was clear on the emergency vet’s X-ray so her death was preventable. To add further injury, Rose City refuses to take me off their email list after asking multiple times to be removed from their contact lists and those emails forcibly remind me of that very painful loss.
